Hello! I am a 2nd year teacher in the Chicago Public Schools system. I currently teach 8th grade science and serve as the ELL teacher for my team. I teach a diverse group of students that come from high areas of poverty and of various academic levels. As such, I am always looking for ways to enhance their learning environment with tools that will aid in their academic advancement in the world of science and beyond. As a product of CPS and a bilingual student myself, I know the difficulties that my students go through without having the needed materials to help them succeed. My goal is to provide as many resources as I can to help my students transition into the mainstream English culture surrounding public schools while enhancing their science experiences.
