My project requests different seating options for the children: a rug; stability balls; and bean bag chairs. A rug will allow my students to sit on the floor in a clean and comfortable manner, for calendar math meetings. The stability balls are a wonderful seating option for students who struggle to sit still during class and/or work time. This allows them the opportunity to fidget in a non-distracting manner by slightly bouncing. In addition the bead bag chairs will give students a relaxed seating alternative for those who struggle to sit at a standard desk. Students will be able to stay focused and engaged when they are comfortable.
