They attend school from 7:00AM to 5:30PM, work on two hours of homework at home, and still come back with a smile on their face, and a joke in their back pocket. They are inquisitive and curious, free spirited, yet disciplined. Each and every single Advocate sees their potential, and the potential of their teammates and stop at nothing to ensure their goals are reached, setting them on a path to graduate from a four-year institution in 2025. When they do this, they will each individually, and as a collective, be defying the odds that South and East Los Angeles public school children face.
