For the scuplty, my students will be embarking on their first-ever 3-d project. I will be teaching them about Native Americans and their motives for having totems in their culture. Working with their hands will make the other side of their brain turn on and they will be so excited that we will not be doing another drawing. Watercolor paper and watercolors will be used for multiple projects not only this year but next. Right now I have non-refillable watercolor pallets and over half of them are empty.
By donating to our projects, you will not only improve the scholar's attention and art rhetoric, but you will ultimately help them open their minds to new ideas and opportunities to express themselves.
Being a charter school in a school serving underprivileged children, a lot of my students help express themselves through art.
