My students come from low income families. We are a "poor" school and don't have many resources. Several of my students aren't even able to bring pencils to school. They are all eager to learn though and do their best. I never hear them complain about how they don't have as much as other schools in the area, despite obvious gaps among them. The school is filled with supportive staff and we are doing our best to provide the students with hope for their future. They are so thankful for anything and everything done for them, even something small like giving them pencils.
