As teachers, we cannot look at our class as a whole. We have to get to know each and every one of our students and meet all their individual needs. Students also need to feel a part of the classroom and that their voice matters. They also need to feel comfortable, otherwise how can we expect them to be able to learn?
By giving students flexible seating options, they can find a choice that sets them up for success. Students will use the stability balls and wobble chairs to focus while still moving their bodies. The table and pillows will be used for students to collaborate and work independently. They will store their supplies in the book bins so they can move freely within the classroom.
