Our classroom serves general and special education second-grade students from diverse backgrounds; our school is about 48% low-income, 20% special education, and 8% ELL. My students come to school each day ready to learn, with positive attitudes and optimistic outlooks! Although they may come from challenging backgrounds, my mission is to serve my students and make them feel safe, comfortable, and welcome in our classroom environment. We continually work toward maintaining this positive environment in our classroom setting, so my students can reach their highest potential.
