Hello! My name is Ms. Haugabrook and I am a diverse learning teacher in Chicago. My teaching experience has been quite a journey! I started my career remotely in a pandemic, which has changed many of my assumptions about teaching, but I will always believe my students should be in a learning environment that feels welcoming, warm, fun, and safe. My students are diverse learners who share new perspectives, inspire new teaching techniques, and bring lots of excitement to the classroom. I want my students to feel as much excitement about being in school as they bring to the school, and these projects can help them get there.
