I teach all subjects to my students in our Third Grade classroom. We are a K-5 school. My students will explore the greatest opportunity of reading a fun novel that is relevant to "getting along" as Third Graders. One of our language arts themes is friendship, and this book will help them see how others solve problems in life. We need forty copies of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so students can follow along in their copy as I or another student read aloud. This project will put a real book in the students' hands. Students also may take the book home to share with family. You can be assured my students will become life-long problem solvers, better friends, and improved readers just by reading this novel. Because of your support, they will want to read more because of their experience with this novel.
