We are a Kindergarten classroom in an Elementary School located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. We are also an arts magnet school. Our classroom is full of 5 year olds from many different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We have students who are Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Hmong, Asian, Somali and more! Much of our population is on free or reduced lunch. We are the youngest learners in our school and are learning so much every day! We work hard to create a friendly, helping, caring, respectful, loving community in our classroom. We learn about being good friends, being good listeners, solving social problems, sharing, our numbers, our letters, science, music, dancing and so much more! All are welcome in our accepting, loving classroom where we treat one another with great care and respect. Our little minds are constantly learning new things every day that we will continue to use all the way through school!
