I have the most amazing job of working at a school with 1100 of the most genuine, hardworking students around. My students are given the highest expectations and are supported to rise to the occasion, They have shown strides in historical thinking, collaboration, analyzing documents, writing, reading, character building, socialization, and even empathy. My classroom is one that supports creative individuality. Students are given the opportunity to learn through a variety of teaching styles, and techniques. Whether we are using Chromebooks to research delegates of the Constitutional Convention, writing claims about whether the war with Mexico was justified, or creating music videos about the Bill of Rights, my classroom fosters the love for learning. If there is one thing you will see from my students and my classroom, it is the creative element that is put into each lesson and the smiles all around.
