I am looking to incorporate some flexible seating options for my English students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. In my classroom, we write, we discuss, we read, and we collaborate. But my students sit all day, every day. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they had some unique seating - or even standing - options? These bistro tables will allow students to work either standing or sitting. They can accomodate two students for individual or partner work, and up to four students for small discussion and collaboration. Having unique seating options in a classroom will encourage my students' creativity, allow them some freedom from the same old desks, and will provide motivation and comfort for a portion of their day!
