My students have very high sensory needs due to their autism and learning needs. By providing them with flexible seating options it gives them an added boost to their learning experience.
Circle time is often my students hardest moments in class, as it requires them to sit still while I read and/or present a lesson to them. They currently sit in regular school provided chairs squirming as they do. I am hoping the brightly colored stools I chose will give them a sense of comfort and help them to enjoy my circle time lessons. These chairs would also give them more stability as they are less prone to be able to rocked like our current seating.
