They say that "seeing is believing" and I want to help my students believe! I am very fortunate to teach enthusiastic and impressionable young 1st grade students at a small neighborhood Title 1 elementary school with a large population of second language learners. These 6 and 7 year-old students need as much experience with concrete materials and engaging visuals as possible to increase their vocabulary and their understanding of new concepts.

About my class
