Our students have a variety of personalities and interests. They often have difficulty branching out of what's normal for them. Our students sometimes need help making friends and finding out what interests others. Our community is a working-class community and may not have the resources to provide all materials. 90% of our school is on free-and-reduced lunch and we as a school would like to help our community and kids stay prepared and remain successful. We are an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) school and provide our students with strategies and skills to help them stay on track. We not only want them to be successful in academics, but also in social aspects.
