Being a first grader these days requires a student to be well adapted in learning through technological processes. In my classroom, we explore and use various educational applications in all subject areas through out the day. However, the most important is geared for student success in phonological and phonemic skills.
We are a super squad learning super reading skills! With the availability of head phones, we will be able to take full advantage of our classroom Chromebooks, iPads, and desk top computers to help sharpen our reading skills.
Since most of us are working on different literacy skills and or reading abilities, the head phones will allow multiple learning stations to operate simultaneously with minimal distraction noise. Head phones will also give students the opportunity to take responsibility of their own learning and will allow students to stay focused during individualized or student selected lessons on particular devices.
