I teach at a vibrant and creative school in Oklahoma City. The students come from homes with hard-working, and dedicated families. Many of my students have the opportunity to be the first in their family to attend college. My students love to learn; they are a compassionate community of individuals with bright ideas and creative minds. The students and their families truly value their education.
Our school is located in a low-SES community, and while the students face daily challenges, they are resilient and perseverant. My students truly value their education and have a strong desire to learn.
As an educator, my goal is to empower my students and connect their learning to the world outside of our classroom walls with every opportunity possible.
