I teach STEM to all students at my school. Prek3, Prek4, and Kindergarten come to my classroom daily to learn how to be problem solvers, and critical thinkers.
Additonally I support teachers with reading intervention support.
I would describe my school as diverse and unique. We have students of various racial backgrounds, Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern, and Turkish. We have dual language programs Chinese and Spanish, and we celebrate the diversity in our school with celebrations and cultural programs so our students can learn very early the world is filled with great people and we should embrace all cultures. I hear teachers speaking to student in Spanish and Chinese and it makes me smile to know I am in a school that embraces these students.
