I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in the third grade. This is literally my dream job! I am very honored to be the teacher to 24 wonderful students this year. As a second year teacher my goal this year is to provide my students with creative outlets. Art is a fantastic way to allow children to create. This year I would like to introduce clay into my classroom art centers and allow children to create different items with clay. The children will be able to decorate and paint/color their clay work after it dries! I am also in dire need for updated desk chairs. The teacher and co-teacher chairs in my room are extremely dated and were damaged during classroom construction this summer. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about Ms. Jenkins' first grade classroom. Our class motto is #NoBadDaysInFirst grade and we wish you nothing but #GoodDays
