My classroom of learners attend a charter school located in a low income area in Arizona. My population consists of 30 students ranging from severely below grade level to students working two years above grade level. It is a high needs school with around ninety percent of the population identified as free and reduced based on socio-economic levels. The students are very eager and active learners who love to apply their knowledge and understanding through hands on experiences.
