Welcome to my classroom! I teach upper elementary in San Diego, CA. We are a Title I school in an urban setting. Our classroom is a place where we embrace learning with all of our senses and strong character traits. We are a STEAM school and integrate learning across subjects incorporating our STEAM subjects: science, technology, engineering, art, and math. We also learn social and emotional skills to help students to become good citizens. Our classroom community is a wonderful place to be!
I have amazing students, many of whom are dealing with major challenges in their lives. My goal is to make learning and curiosity an exciting, joyous daily activity. I want school to be a place they love to come to. They are awesome humans who have a love of learning.
