I am a first year kindergarten teacher. this Title one school is the same school I went to elementary school at. Our school just received tile floors. To prevent the students from sitting on the hard tile or having to sit in chairs all day, we are in need of a new classroom rug. We will use this rug multiple times a day. We will meet on the carpet to start and end each and every day.
This rug will allow students to have a clean, comfortable space where we can gather as a class and develop academically and personally. Students will come to the carpet for class meetings, whole class instruction, and more.
This new carpet will allow students a safe and clean place to interact with peers, technology, and build the necessary foundation to learn, play, and grow.
