Welcome to my Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) classroom — a space full of potential but currently limited to just desks and chairs. While these provide a place to sit and learn, they don’t reflect the warmth and support SEL instruction needs.
This room is meant to be a safe space where elementary and middle school students can explore emotions, build relationships, and grow into kind, resilient individuals. But without essentials like calming tools, SEL books, flexible seating, art supplies, and visual aids, it’s hard to meet those goals.
Our students deserve a nurturing environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued. With your support, we can transform this empty space into a welcoming classroom where students develop self-awareness, empathy, and emotional strength.
