Hands on science and fun rewards labs provide the necessary materials to implement the new NGSS core and provide students with engaging learning experiences. All supplies go to fund exploratory labs and provide students with a unique opportunity to learn chemistry. The shirts and tie dye supplies are for teaching students about chemical changes in our chemistry unit. The elephant toothpaste and the foam kits will provide great examples of different chemical reactions and allow students to experience exciting reactions, and make observations and inferences regarding the experiment. The headphones will allow students to engage in various projects and virtual labs on their iPads that include chemistry, physics, math, biology, and earth science. We will use the rocket launcher to learn about kinetic energy, potential energy, and energy transfer. The energy transfer kits will be instrumental in helping students to see energy transfer from one form to another.
All the materials will enable my students to make memorable experiences in science class and influence their perception of science in a positive way.
