Many students with learning disabilities learn best with concepts being taught in multiple ways. The supplies that I am requesting will aide these students in learning the skills necessary to succeed; These are all skills that will advance student learning as well as prepare them for their future endeavors.
I teach in a Title I low-income school, that includes 7th and 8th grade. I teach 7th grade Language Arts, both in an inclusion setting and a resource room. My students have the drive and the passion to learn, but their different learning disabilities can stand in the way of that occasionally.
