An Apple iPad is an engaging way to reach all learners. Students have the ability to communicate and develop innovative ideas.
Some students have limited exposure to the world, but with the technology, they will become their own pilots. By using the latest technology, we will enhance student learning in various ways. Apple iPads offer students the opportunity to use applications in many subject areas that are not easily accessible otherwise.
Some of the features, like Speak Screen and VoiceOver help students practice with reading, speaking and listening. These iPads can also help with organizing information.
In my class, I love for students to use iMovie, which helps students design presentations based on our curriculum. We also use fluency-building apps that strengthen math foundational skills.
As we have learned over the past year, technology is not only our future, it has become our present and our gift. With devices like this in my classroom, I can use it as a vehicle for enhancing our new learning experiences. Students will have the power and ability to grow.
