My teaching partner and I provide a warm atmosphere that encourages school-readiness, learning, friendship, and fun! In partnership with Head Start, we strive to provide what young children need to learn and grow through learning centers and interactive play. This means: We challenge – but do not push – children to learn skills they do not currently have the readiness or maturity to handle. Our caring cafeteria staff prepare non-processed, fresh and nutritious breakfasts, snacks and lunches; providing wholesome, organic meals for our children’s health and well-being. That said, we currently asking for ‘Pretend & Play,’ ‘Smart Snacks,’ and ‘New Sprouts' manipulative activities, to assist in building each child’s readiness skills as they are ready. The majority of these manipulative activities correlate with the foods we grow in our school garden, as well as the fresh & healthy meals prepared for us by our cafeteria staff!
