The skeleton serves many functions to the human body. A few of those functions are storage, protection, movement, support and blood cell formation. Without the model, my students will be unable to see firsthand how the bones connect, the actual body frame and how the muscles attach to the bones to enable movement.
The donation will assist with helping my students become more engaged in their learning. By providing the model, students will be able to not only understand how the bones and joints work but also the muscles. The model, not only will give hands-on experience but will assist with understanding how our bodies work.
