First and foremost, I absolutely LOVE being an educator! This will be my second year teaching, and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from my school, parents and kiddos.
I teach the English side of Dual Language at an elementary school with nearly 3/4 of the student population being economically disadvantaged. Now I only mention this to express why I strive to give my students every opportunity to feel safe, loved and at home in our classroom. As their teacher I know where my kids come from, and for many of my students their safe place is at school.
As stated previously, I have truly gained so much from these eager, loving, selfless students who walk the halls of Crippen Elementary. It is in my heart and soul to work towards giving every student that enters our classroom the opportunity and guidance to continue to blossom.
Thank you for letting me share a part of my heart.
