As a new teacher, my classroom is in need of materials and supplies that will help me to cultivate a conducive learning environment that meets the needs of all scholars. Our classroom needs book bins and trays to organize students' individual reading materials, leveled books in our class library, and materials for learning centers. The bookcase will be used to display culturally relevant literature to promote a love for reading and expose scholars to books that they see themselves in. We would also like an easel for small group instruction to target the individual learning needs of students. Lastly, we are requesting vocabulary journals to promote academic English language development and build scholars' verbal and written communication skills.
The materials requested will allow me to foster an effective learning environment with the necessary resources to ensure that my scholars thrive academically.
