My students will have opportunities to increase their communication with this project. The students in my classroom all struggle to communicate effectively. Having motivating toys and resources that they want to interact with will increase the opportunities that I have to get them to make requests. Also, interactive manipulatives will give them ways to show me all the knowledge they possess without needing oral communication. They will be able to show knowledge of letters, shapes, objects, counting and numbers. I will also be able to continue to educate them with toys/learning materials that interest them and make them want to participate. I believe children are wonderful explorers and can learn through play and this project gives the the opportunity to do so.
