I work as a Kindergarten teacher at a Title 1, high poverty school in Florida. My students face many challenges in their lives and still come to school wanting to learn and explore the world around them. My goal is to establish a positive learning environment that sets my students up for success and creates a desire for life long learning. This requires engaging activities that capture student interest or flexible seating that provides students with the opportunity to learn in a manner best for them. Hands on materials are a fantastic way to achieve these goals and I can't wait to watch my students grow this year!
