My preschool students are loving, happy, and fun children with a variety of disabilities. At times though, it is difficult for schools to receive additional funding for extra resources. I offer technology lessons to my Pre-K students daily, but an iPad has been a goal of mine to incorporate in my classroom. Some of my students have developmental delays, speech and language impairments, physical impairments, health impairments, and are deaf and hard of hearing. Some of these disabilities limit a child’s ability to communicate their most basic needs such as wanting something to eat or drink. They are unable to talk and share ideas with their classmates during story time, activity times and play, which unfortunately doesn't always allow them to express themselves like their peers.
