Our curriculum contains daily opportunities for classroom discussion as well as labs with results to share out. Each unit ends with a project demonstrating their learnings. All of these types of lessons require students to participate and share their ideas and findings. The Qball microphone will increase interest in participating as well as make it possible to hear all students. In addition, the remote presenter can be used with daily lessons as well as student project presentations. Right now we are confined to one desktop computer on the other side of the room.
These tools would allow for more interactive presentations and discussions.
Student will want to participate in discussion more often to be able to use the Qball. In addition to being able to hear each voice, we will have the added benefit of hearing more voices. The same will hold true for participation in group presentations. Each student will want to use the clicker and laser pointer to share out their project with their classmates.
