Our entire school district is starting the year with distance learning. For many of our Kindergarten students, this will be their first-ever experience with school! We need to provide them the same well-rounded materials at home that they would have gotten to interact with in the classroom this fall.
Kindergarteners need to touch, feel, and interact with what they are learning. That's why we are providing LOTS of ways for our youngest students to interact with letters (puzzles, construction sets, stickers) and numbers (connector cubes, sticky dots). These materials will be sent home together with supplies they need like crayons, paper, glue, personal white boards, and more so that we can get as close to an in-school experience as possible and tap into the natural learning styles of students who are 5 and 6-years-old.
