CCSE is a Title 1 public charter school in Chattanooga, TN. The majority of my students are African American and Hispanic and are some of the most talented individuals you will meet.
Our classroom environment is student-centered to create an equitable learning atmosphere. Our classroom is a safe and brave space where students develop critical thinking skills and practice effective verbal and written communication skills. Each quarter we have guest speakers visit our class to help students see the real world connections of what we are learning in class.
How students describe our class:
"We had our loud days n quite days but she never doubted or gave up on us , if you don't like her class your missing out on a big chance of learning more then you know about English."-K.G.
"Good vibes." -K.H.
"Fun to learn." -V.C.
"You have a voice in her class and she will listen to you and your opinions do matter."-A.H.
