Welcome to Ms. McD's high school science studio! We take a dynamic, hands-on approach to learning science, this year chemistry and science inquiry! Students learn by doing, discovering their own knowledge as they go, facilitated by numerous kinesthetic, visual and auditory opportunities. We are a public high school serving a diverse population of students, of whom 89% receive free or reduced lunch. I open students' minds to a passion for science and a variety of opportunities within the STEM fields, as well as giving students creative outlets during the study of science as they develop critical thinking and problem solving through applying our learning to real problems.
