My public school in Nebraska has an extended calendar and an extended school day. The extended day includes enrichment courses like Walking Club, Cheerleading, Outdoor Sports, Kids Chorus, Focus on Math, Focus on Reading, Yoga, Keyboarding and of course, R.O.A.R. (Read Often and Relax). My school includes grades 3-6,with a pathway to a metro middle school and high school that follow our pillars of leadership, communication,and technology. My class of 20 students come from all over the metro area. My students represent reading levels this year from F and P level K to level S. My students respond to my love of reading and enjoy each and every book I've read to them and shared with them this year. Fairy Tales are a favorite, most especially The True Story of the Three Little Pigs.
