My students spent the entirety of the 2020-21 school year learning 100% virtually. At this point, we are all familiar with the many challenges that learners, teachers, and families have faced as a result of learning (albeit safely) at home. I normally integrate a variety of creative assessments in my ELA classroom, and the ability to physically create and handle paper supplies has been sorely missed.
This project allows me to provide those hands-on activities from the first day of the 2021-22 school year. After a fully virtual school year, these supplies will allow my students to step back into the classroom with confidence and creativity.
