My students need some technology that they can independently utilize during centers. Our classroom doesn't have a listening station or computers at this time. The iPad can have apps and resources so that students can listen to reading. With the diverse abilities of students, the iPad will help target the skills of individuals/partners. In addition, the Osmo program will allow students to use technology in a hands-on way. Students won't be able to just click on a letter. Instead, they will use letter tiles to communicate with the iPad and spell words. This will help them grow during center time and in their learning throughout the year.
