Our second grade students will benefit from having a color pinter in several ways. Students will be able to print up individual work that was created on laptops in color. I believe they would be more motivated to create more technology based projects if printing in color is readily available. Additionally, they will be able to print up articles or stories in color, which will help them to better see the drawings and photographs embedded in the text.
Drawings and photographs that are used in text help enhance comprehension, therefore, being able to print these in color would help our kids when reading fiction or non fiction text. Drawings and photographs help the students by showing them what characters look like in a story, character's actions and facial expressions, settings, as well as realistic views of whatever they may be reading if it's an informational text.
Being able to print in color versus black and white would be a great way to enhance our student's school experiences. Thank you for your consideration!
