The books I have selected (along with the ones I have purchased myself) have more appeal to my students than the books they currently have. I want my students to get a certain level of enjoyment from reading. Right now they feel that reading is more of a chore. These books will not only help to make reading fun, but they will initiate questions that we will be able to have discussions on. I want my students to be great readers, proficient writers, and excellent speakers. Getting these books can definitely make a big difference in the way they perceive reading in the future.
