Our school is a Title I, inner city school where over 80% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. We struggle, especially in the area of math, with many students needing extra support.
Despite the hardships we face, my students are excited to learn and happy to come to school. This year I have a very motivated group of 31 diverse learners. They greet me with a smile each day and love to help out by doing jobs around our classroom. They have big dreams. Every single student in my class says they would like to attend college one day. When I look at the faces of my students I see tomorrow's doctors, lawyers, teachers, politicians, architects, and engineers. Please help me create a brighter future for these kids.
