I teach a diverse population of kindergarten students at a Title I Elementary school in Rhode Island. My classroom size can range from 18-26 students. Some of my students are ELL leaners, they come to me at the beginning of the year speaking little to no English.
The kindergarten age is very active and energetic. About half of my students come to me with no previous schooling. It's essential that I create a warm and welcoming environment for all my students.
