Every child deserves a quality education, the opportunity to grow as a learner and individual, and to enter the classroom prepared to succeed. I strive to accomplish these goals each and every day. I am a third grade teacher at the Mario Umana Academy, a Title 1 school in East Boston, Massachusetts. Resources are limited, and my students would benefit from fun and engaging projects, field trips, and technology to support their learning. I serve students from a low income community, many without access to computers at home. All of my students speak a language other than English at home, and receive support in school. Please help me mold the minds of our future.
