I teach at a Title I school where 96% of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students are performing below grade level in math, and due solely to the area in which they live, they do not have the same resources or opportunities as students in other parts of our city.
Despite the odds stacked against them by their environment, my students come to school ready and willing to learn and better themselves.
My kids love to have fun and want to bring their level up and become intelligent members of society, and I am doing everything I can to help them reach their goals.
