My students attend a lovely school within the Rochester City School District. Our classroom is a self contained 6:1:2 room and all the students have autism.
My students come into the classroom with a big smile and are eager to learn. They work hard to become a leader within our classroom and school by working with their classmates and making the right choice.
My students love hands on activities, partner work, dancing, and reading. They always enjoy the chance to play with our classroom sensory toys and practicing their teamwork.
Our kindergarten room is a safe environment where students come to learn about themselves and the world around them. While we may have unique needs and focus on different subjects, we learn just as much!
