My kindergarten classroom is a place for hands-on discovery. The students succeed through an EL Education model. All children are taught to focus on high-quality work and habits of character. This is done by creating, listening, collaborating, and deliberate practicing. This group loves to exploring mathematics through the use of manipulatives, learning new games, and dancing to a groovy beat.
Although my students come from varying backgrounds, they all come to school ready to learn and enjoy each new activity presented!
Because of our rural setting, most students ride the bus for over forty-five minutes each morning. Over sixty percent of these children qualify for the free or reduced food program.
