My 4th grade students are curious and eager to learn!! In this high-poverty, inner-city school, approximately 93% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and breakfast. Not all students have the opportunity to access technology from their homes. Approximately 5 of my 23 students have a dependable computer with Internet access at home.
My students range from being on grade level in reading and math, to some who are significantly below grade level. Of my 23 students, 13 are classified as ESL, and all but two receive extra support in one, or both, subjects.
