I teach Kindergarten in a low-income, large urban city. All 24 of my students are English Language Learners and enjoy learning. Six of the students have Individualized Education Plans, and they receive special education instruction by a resource teacher. The majority of the students are developmentally delayed; most have speech problems and learning disabilities. They are very energetic, eager to learn, and are enthusiastic about coming to school.
